As you might be aware Microsoft Tech Days are skipping Calgary this year, but we are looking into holding a Prairie Developer Conference in Calgary http://www.prairiedevcon.com/ but need to get an idea as to the interest in holding such an event here.  Prairie Developer Conference is two days with an extra day for optional post-conference workshops, and presenters have come from all over North America in various technical disciplines.  The survey is located at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q73Q7S6 so if you want to see a developer conference in Calgary this year, please complete the survey.
